The product
ProblemLab is a free study tool: a placement test, a daily problem plan, hints, worked solutions, and progress tracking. It is not affiliated with the MAA, AMC, AIME, or any contest organizer. Problem statements are used under fair-use/attribution norms common to contest-prep sites; worked solutions are written by the AoPS community, not issued by any contest.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. One account per person, please — the rating and plan are personal to you.
Hints aren't perfect
Hints come from a fixed set of general problem-solving strategies built into ProblemLab itself — not from an AI model, and not written specifically for the problem in front of you — so they're meant to nudge, not to guarantee correctness. If a hint looks wrong or unhelpful, trust the worked solution over it, and consider reporting it (see Help).
Classes
Any account can create a class and get a join code to share with students, or join a class with a code from a teacher. A class's teacher can see the rating, accuracy, activity, and streak of students who've joined it — see Privacy for exactly what that includes. You can leave a class at any time from Settings.
No guarantees
ProblemLab is provided as-is, free of charge, without warranty of any kind — including that it will improve your contest results. We do our best to keep problems, answers, and solutions accurate, and we fix mistakes when they're reported.
Changes
We may update these terms or the product itself as ProblemLab grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
